should i finish off the completion of white lights all the way around by getting a set of new tailights [about $240]
OR
should i get an alarm put on my car [est. $377] so I can eventually get ready to put a nice system in it?

either or dude its a complete toss up on that one, alarms are nice to have but the clears set off the car! if you live in a bad or crime neighborhood i would say alarm then!

Having keyboard troubles there, EL Pres? LOL Anyways... What does the central locking mechanism do? If I got a e36 that didn't have keyless entry could I install my own alarm and still have double locking? Oh, and I was browsing again, and read that if its 94 or older, the double locking doesn't control the fuel rail/starter.. So I guess if the car is older than that, the lights would be more worth your while. * searches for an owners manual * -Josh
k2c69n, by that price are you talking about the BMW factory alarm? Save your money, get an Audiovox Prestige series alarm with the sat link option. That way, you pay about 250 dollars and get the unlimited and lifetime usage of calling a 1800 number, lock, unlock, start, pop your trunk, car finder, and panic. Thats what I am going to add on to my alarm system.
