Debaffle Question

Ok, I read the FYI's and there is still 1 thing i am unclear about. Is all I remove the cone shaped thing inside of the airbox to debaffle it. Look at the picture below, I'm talking about the one that I highlighted in blue and have an arrow pointing to ... haha I like to keep things simple.

Yup just take the cone out of the airbox. That gives the growling sound.
Even with paper filter.

Yea, not too interested in the sound, more a performance gain, however small, with a k&n or green. However I did hear that they have to stay oiled and that oem paper filters are your best bet.

also, that is if on the 4cyl model. I do not think anyone has taken a clear pic on the 6.

When I do mine I'll take some clear pictures of a 6 cylinder.

That's what I said, it's hard to take a picture because it's up inside the airbox.
