Dash Brake Light

This is probably a stupid question but...i recently replaced my brake pads, but the new pads didnt have the connection for the brake light sensor, so i just cable tied it up but the light on the dash wont go out.

so any ideas?

I'm sure you put the correct pads on. The cable sensor has a "u" shaped edge and should just press into the center of the brake pad edge.

I assume you replaced the brake sensor anyway? If its still the old cable, it will still be on. Also, the pads should have a U in the center, and the new sensor will clip into place.

no, the pads i put on are pattern parts so they dont have the grove,do i have to connect the two wires together or ground them to the car body?
