cylinder filling with fuel please help - BMW Forum

So I completed wiring my Tec3 today and I was testing the system by just turning the car to on position without starting the engine, while energizing the system I got a strong smell of gas. I unplugged everything and looked under the car and there was a puddle of gas, upon further inspection I found a large amount gas in the intake and throttle body. So I took the TB off and gas poured out, I loosened the intake mani nuts and gas came out, took spark plugs out and hand rotated the motor and all the cylinders were full of gas. What could have caused this?

Wow, thats not good. Have you checked your injectors? What exactly is the Tec3? Ive never heard of it before.

A Tec3 is a stand alone ecu made by Electromotive. Yeah its the injectors I wired something wrong so they stay on. I was just looking for any guidance.

sounds like you had constant power to the injectors, that is weird, maybe every injector was worn out, or faulty....hmmmm I am stumped here

Did you get this resolved? i would go back and make sure everything is wired correctly. if so i would start replacing the injectors and see where that leads. honestly i'm stumped too. never heard of this on all cylinders.
