crank sensor

hi ive just converted a 318i. it will not start most of the time but occasionly does and runs fine.if i gave the crank wheel (toothed wheel) a knock when getting the engine in will in cause this problem , cheers.oly

It would'nt make any difference if you knocked the flywheel (rotated it slightly) as long as the engine was complete of course.

are the crank sensors on a 318 and a 325 the same and also do the 325`s need a bigger battery because it seems to start quicker when jump started.

the battery i got is a duralast dl 90 or something its huge and yeah i believe there the same if you have a m50 engine it should fit
