Today I was pulling out of a very tight parking space and I grazed the SUV in fron of me and broke the orange plastic cover for the right signal light ('94 318is). What part do i need to replace this--is it the whole light with cover, or is it just the orange plastic cover that I need--is this easy to DIY?
You can also order new clear turn signals from a performance dealer... they are very popular and make the car look a lot better... you can get these from www.umnitza.com if you like... its the turn signal cover...
Thanks for your help--I think I may go with the clear ones--are they easy to install? do you have any links to pics of e36's with the clear corners--curious to see how ggod it looks--i know they have photos on the site--but would like to see better pics if you know of any--also, I was thinking of replacing the headlight covers as well--they are a bit aged--any choice I can make to spruce them up?
You will have to get orange bulbs. Another option is to get "stealth" bulbs or LED signal indicators. Both of these look clear when off, but light up orange.
