1. I have a 94' 325is and the heated seat on the passenger side turns on then turns right off like 5 seconds later. I push the button on the counsel and it turns red just like it is suppose to but then i turns right off in a few seconds. Anyone know what is causing this?
2. Where is the light bulb for the lights switch? Where you turn on my lights is not illuminted when i turn my lights on. Does anyone know where i find the bulb for that so i can replace it?

dont know about #1 but #2 check pelicanparts.com or just call them...
You have two fuses in the front distribution box...
Fuse No. 23 and Fuse No. 4
Check No. 4... as both power sources go to a unloader relay... so if the sure is burnt... the other might power for a few seconds then realize it cant power everything.
The power then goes to your drivers and passengers heater switch...
It has a min/max inside of the switch... and then that power goes to the seat back heater and the seat heater... check all connections with the switch... everything.
where you turn on the lights to my car is suppose to be illumiated like the rest of the interior of the car....that amber red color. It has not been lighitng up for some time now and i dont know how to fix it
Yes it is. Just make sure to check all your fuses. Since it's an insolated area i'm thinking it might jsut be a blown bulb...which ive never personally heard of in that location.

Bmw didnt know what an led was prior to late model e46's. They are slow to get with the program on some technologies. Case in point.. cassette players. I never checked, but I wouldnt be surprised if you could still get one in an e90.
to answer the first question, the heating element may be burned out, the circuit does a self test, sees that it isnt making a full connection and turns itself off again as a safety measure.
I went out and looked at my kids car and it was burned out too. I temporarily replaced it with a Sylvania 2721 bulb (stock type) but I ordered about ten #74(they replace the stock 2721 bulbs...) white LED replacement from these guys at Super Bright LEDs online....
to replace the glovebox, courtesy and license plate bulbs. They were cheap enough I figured I'd go ahead and do as many as I could find. I even ordered a handfull of the #194 LEDs for sidemarker and various other uses.
You can always find uses for those little bulbs. They run cooler and last forever.
