 couple of questions...
there is about an inch of free play with my accelerator pedal - would it cause any problems if i took the slack out of the throttle cable or would it screw with readings from the tps?
also, can anyone tell me the interval for replacing the timing chain tensioner on an m42 engine? - what mileage is usual on them before they start making noise?
i can hear a hissing coming from the engine when the tach hits 3k - this hissing only happens when the car is moving, won't hiss when i sit there revving - i assume this is the tensioner on the way out?
