I believe you would have to either drop exactly or less than 1.5" or you you will have to roll your fenders and not drop much more than that. It is tough to drop the car with 19's, most stick with 18's if you are going ot drop. I am not 100% convienced that it will work even with a 1.5" drop.

I have my 325i lowered by 40mm and on 19s. The ride is still good even when I have people in the back.

Love the expression... and help for this guy... keep it up....

Yea.. you should be able to lower just fine.. just make sure when you get the spring that you talk to someone with the spring and see how much it actually lowered his car.. and then apply that to your own..

Good Luck,

Les

Hey be nice Bigred! You dropped your car too remember? 19's those are damn expensive! If you talk to the bimmer shop you are going to get them from they will be able to tell you. And I don't think rolling your fenders costs that much!

stick with 18's. less of a hassle, and will still look good.

I have my e36 lowered 1.5" and the biggest problem was the offset on the rims, too much and your back fender will touch, too little and you cant turn without the front touching. In my opinion 19" rims are too big a headache, litterally, with a stiff suspension and hardly any rubber on the rim, your head will be ringing unless you're on perfect pavement. But I went through the same problem and found that if you want to preserve any ride quality you can't go that big. It's not an e46, it's not as soft. Your car will look great, but drive hard.
