coolent emergency. A hose that goes to my hair box busted and squirted coolent everywhere, my guese is that it is the overflow, however if so there should only be coolent in there if it is over-heating which it is not, can anyone help. thanx

To better help your self and others help you.... please find or take a picture... of what you are talking about... because a hose that goes into your "air" box... will not do very much in helping us help you...

lol , thats the first time ive heard that hose blew, first thing first get it repaired/replaced. also change your check your air box to see if any got inside the airbox, should be pretty simple to fix and make sure to bleed the cooling system properly when you refill or flush it.

Also refill with BMW brand coolant only.
When you use inferior coolants (usually the bright green Walmart coolant)
it tends to harden and crack the interior if hoses on the E36 vehicles.
Someone told me that and the next day I got my coolant flushed and refilled with BMW coolant.

Cheep ass fluids, yah, I tend to stray away from them. Get some trusted shit like ziex or however the shit you spell it or prestone or soemthing.

Also look in the FAQ forum... I wrote a long thing on coolant a while ago... it should explain any questions pertaining coolant you might have... if not... PM me and I will either find out or point you in the right direction.
