Now that the weather has gotten a bit colder here where i live my car keeps telling me to check my coolent level. It only happens when i first start my car in the morning but not after its warmed up, so im assuming that it expands a bit or somthing when it gets warm. Does this happen to anyone else and do i really need to worry about this?
I get the check coolant level sign too. I thought it was the coolant level sensor. anyone else got this problem?

My first choice would be the coolant level sensor, you can remove it and clean it up, spray some contact cleaner on electrical connection and hope that works.
Have you actually checked the level of your coolant?... there is a cold line.. check that.. other than that.. clean the contacts on the level sensor...
Your car shouldn't be telling you to check the coolant level regardless of temperature unless a condition exists. Check your actual coolant level and the sensor.
