Converting Transmissions

I just wanted some input on what you all think of converting my auto tranny to a standard tranny for a 2.5L 93' 325i. My bro had an 97' M3 with an auto and got a standard and payed only like $600 and it was in really good condition. Any inputs?
Anyway I know your wondering who in the hell gets an bimmer auto. but I payed 2,000.00 for this car at 135k miles. Bought it from my bro.Anyway thats my story .

I would "love" the 6spd conversion i posted earlier in this thread...

That extra gear would be nice for highway cruising, but i could definetly not justify the cost. If anything happens with my driveline it's gonna be fluid changes for differential and tranny. My LSD has some wicked skipping sometimes so I'm hoping some decent fluid will clean that up.

P.S. As long as your pulling the transmission, you might as well just go to M3 for it, bigger transmission, bigger driveshaft, bigger differential... you get the idea. However I'm not sure if it will fit on your engine
