Convertible Top Down

The manual says dont leave it down for extended periods because the window will crease. How long is extended? Mine has been down for 2 months and I'd like to leave it down all summer.

2 weeks would most likely count as extended.

just put it up at night and down in the morning,.. you can even get it hooked to an alarm system to go up and down with a press of a button..

I agree it is probably good to put it up at night, however.... We just bought a 96 328 convertible and the previous owner had a hard top that he kept on for 7 months in a row each year. No crease in the window, go figure. Reed.
