I just got a 1999 323i convertible last week. There's a rubber ring or gasket around the plastic rear window, and it obviously folds over when the top goes down. The place were it folds has broken on the drivers side. I've tried to glue it down with silicon seal, but I can't get the two broken ends to stay glued- it seems ok when the top is up, but after cycling it the ends pop back up. Any advice? thanks

I think that rubber gasket can be replaced...I just had my window replaced, and the new window didn't come with one, however, it looks like the rubber seal was replaced because the old one was creased in those same areas where the window folds in half. BavAuto doesn't have it listed in parts, but I would call them and ask.

They have like everything just not all listed in the catalogs (they would look more like a phone book if they did...) or on the site.
