i want to make my exhaust a 3" from the headers back, starting with the pipe that the oxygen sensor is located. 3" cat and 3" muffler all the way back. would it make a good difference or a bad one? i have a 93 325is.
what do you people think?

i didn't want to know who has it stock, i wanted to know if its better to make my 93 325is e36 exhaust into a 3" single pipe from the headers back. will it sound better? will it perform better? is it possible? and i would be running a single high flow cat converter so it might flow better than the two stock ones i have on there right now.

thanks

Never heard of it being done, so, don't know. You are talking about a complete fabrication of 3" pipe, cat, muffler, VS a 2" dual system. sounds like a lot of money and time on an "if" factor.

BTW, someone just told me that Borla made a single race system at one time. Maybe give www.borla.com an email.
