Is there any way to tell if the ball joints on lower control arms are replaceable? Pretty sure i have a bad ball joint but am getting differing opinions on whether i have to replace the ball joint or the whole lower control arm

I am almost positive that you can. We sell just the ball joints for this reason. The only reason you would need to replace the whole control arm would be if the small, inner ball joint went bad too. You can find them both here.

They should be; Bavauto has some great heavy duty 'joints.

and yes it is the inside ball joint. i'm going to drop them tomorrow and see if i can. if they're not it looks like fcpgroton has some good prices
