I really really like Alpine White BMWs. I'm getting closer and closer to painting my car and I need to decide what I'm going to do as far as color choice. I want to paint my BMW Alpine white (which will have a full m3 kit on by this time). Problem is, in order to save money, I don't want to do the door jams, engine bay and that kind of stuff. So my ultimate plan is to have all black interior too. So the car will be white on the outside and completely black on the inside. Would that look good with jams being black?

First of all painting a black car white is so much money...you could spend a fraction more of that total cost and paint the door jams (not sure about engine bay)...I have a feeling that the costs will give you reasons for just buying an Alpine White 95 E36 car in the first place....

Maybe that would be an option if it were just a normal 325.. but hes dropped 20 g's into this car so just dumping it for a new chassis idnt really an option.
I meant instead of a spending $7000 grand for a paint job..he could buy a 1998 328i in alpine white and have the best of both worlds...ebony and ivory...living together in harmony

if you got that aa supercharger i could see it being 20k otherwise hmmm
if i were's you i'd repaint it black or even dark dark blue... then it'd fucking rule the school.

I remember him saying once that he added up all the shit hes put into his car and it ended up being like 20 grand.
you don't want to do that. Painting the car is one thing, but painting it two colors would (in the case that you sell the car), make the buyer think that the car has been in a wreck or soemthign like that + painting the car the way you ask, it would imply stripping the car down all the way, and unless you know peops, that's a lot of money.
