Hi All,
Heres one thats got me puzzled:
If you look at
this thread, the third pic refers. This is actually my car. All the lights on the centre console below the head unit arent working. What I mean is that there is NO illumination besides on the window switches. The dash lights all work fine (except the right indicator flasher). Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be? Ive checked all the fuses and all is good. I have absolutely no idea what else could be wrong.
This happened after my waterpump dilemma, which I posted here.
For those interested, the waterpump was replaced and the car is running. I still have one problem though: when I push the car hard, theres a really loud sound coming from the engine. I found that the fan, under high revs, is touching SOMETHING. This NEVER happened before, and its breaking the blades. Anyone have any ideas? MY theories range from "The engine mountings are gone. Under stress, the motor is moving and the fan is touching the cowling. Unfortunately, there arent any marks ont he cowling." to " The waterpump is slightly shorter. Under stress, the blades are flexing inward toward the engine. This is causing it to touch the main pulley, breaking off pieces"... Im lost.
