At a boneyard near me they obtained a M3 that someone abandoned. For very cheap I can get it but its a major project car. manual all gears work. Clutch works . But it needs lots of work. Is it worth doing it?

how cheap? What is broken. If it is going to cost 20k to fix it.. then duh no. If it is going to cost 7k to buy it and fix it, duh, yes. Need more details, what is broken? Everything else?

small exterior mostly interior. Real cheap since I know a few people on here in my area I won't say the price. I would say at most $1000 of work.

95 M3 The front bumper was cracked the hood dended and the one fender as well.(No frame damage)the interior was ripped to all hell carpet seats plastic replacable were faded and scared; no stereo, bad shifter, but all gears worked clutch was like new, engine was in good condition but needed a full 2 part tune up. rusted exhaust, broken air flow mass metter, broken throttle body.Needed new rotors, brakes, shocks, tires. bad head lights and fog lights, needed a new thermostat and housing. other than that no leaks the engine block was spotless. Wiring harness was in good condition. The car was abandoned and was sold to the bone yard. It was $1,800 yes 1800 they were gonna take the two broken down cars in my driveway and 1800 and call it even. Unfortunatly I was buisey fortwo weeks and was still thinking about it until I decided to go back. They sold it

Nowe that i think about it; its more like about $3000 in work. But it still would have been worth every penny.

No the car was left at somones house due to the problems and the owner went to college and never returned. It was then put up for auction and purchased by the junk yard.
