My situation is that is a bit weird, for some reason the "CHECK CONSOLE" or whatever lights up on my dash and then the computer thing comes up with "TAIL LIGHT FAILURE". Now I just had the local BMW dealership fix all the bulbs on my car because one of the bulbs was not in correctly, and after they were done, everything CHECKED OKAY. Today I switched corner lenses on the car (because the last ones from bavauto.com were not fitting correctly so they sent me a new set) and the lenses went in perfect. I didn't touch the bulb or anything, I just took out the corner lens and put the new ones in there. ALL THE LIGHTS (BLINKERS, BRAKE LIGHTS, HEADLIGHTS, ETC...) ALL WORK PERFECTLY FINE (no fast blinking, no nothing, just works perfect) yet that damn computer lit up again saying CHECK CONSOLE and says TAIL LIGHT FAILURE when i didn't even touch the tail light today. All I did was remove the lens' and replace them with new bavarian autosport ones and the failure thing popped up (EVEN THOUGH EVERY LIGHT ON THE CAR IS PERFECTLY FINE). What could be the problem here? Why would the computer say Tail light failure when I did nothing to any bulbs and they all work fine? Someone please shed some light on this for me ;o(
Although all the lights work perfectly, the "TAIL LIGHT FAILURE" thing on the console annoys me. Someone help?
