Ok i went and had my car check out the other day and got all my fluids changed (everything) and changed my spark plugs to. I asked the mechanic to do a compression check while he was working on my car. For some odd resone i dont think he did it but here is what he said. (Front to back) 173, 173, 173, 170, 170, 175. Dose these numbers look about right? And also what are the cylinder numbering order.
thanks in advance.

sound perfect... they're all within 10lbs of each other which is what an engine is supposed to be doing. means the cylinders are aging correctly and you'll have a ton of life left in them :P

So as you can figure already, tore my engine apart. Piston rings were almost gone, sixth cylinder wall had a scrape, valve gaskets (don't know if that's the right expression) were dead, valves need work etc.
As the engine has already been torn apart I decided to port my engine head while I'm at it already.
The interesting thing is that a week before I did the compression test I dynoed my car and it produced 182hp and 162lb-ft of torque... that's normal for an engine that is 14 years old... but taking into account the shape it was in, I'm surprised
