Common Problems on 92' 325is

I just built this 325 as a SCCA racecar and I just wanted to know if there was any common problems I should keep an eye out for.

Search the forums, there are quite a few older threads talking all about common problems. But don't worry, these cars only commom problems are very minor. By the way, nice car!! Tell us what you mean by "built" (what mods have you done). And welcome to the forums!

I just bought the car 2 months ago from a kid who said the motor was really screwed up. But it wasn't and I ended up paying $ 600 for it. I had a 84 318 racecar last year but I ended up selling it. In this car I got: Jet Hot headers, Bimmerworld Chip, Bilstein shocks and coilovers, ground control BIG front swaybar, 391 LSD, Full cage, fire system open exhaust to a flowmaster, Hawk blue pads, K&N cone, and some 225-45-15 hooisers. I not touching the motor until winter and then I'll hook it up, with in legal perimeters of course.

Sweet. Hope you stick around, it'd be ncie to have somebody that did a rebuild on a 92 block.

As for the common problems make sure you check out the rear subframe for tears and the rear shock mounts. These are the biggest concern to a race car, most of the other stuff is random little thinks in the electronics and such.
