Common Problem? #6 Cyl. Filling Up With Coolant??

Anyone know if this is a common problem, the #6 cylinder spark plug hole is filling up with coolant and causing a misfire. Only happens when you get up to running temp and then it starts to happen. When you blow #6 spark plug hole dry and drive, when it is cold it is okay, but when it gets up to running temp it fills up again. Anyone seen this before? No signs of leakage around the top of motor or around vicinity. Is this is a common problem? 94 convertible.

Any insights would help before tearing apart motor.

Ive heard of them filling up with oil...not coolant though...

you've got a blown or cracked head gasket... your oil and antifreeze are probably mixing somewhere and causing this issues. sorry man, bummer.

Also sounds like you've got a warped head too possibly...

Blown head for sure- You may have also noticed smoke in the exhaust where the coolant has gotten into the combustion cycle.
Don't run it unless you don't value the rest of the engine. Your oil is likely already contaminated by antifreeze which can damage your bearings very easily-make sure you address this.
When you fix it, take the head and have it leveled. Also, it didn't blow for no reason- you need to find out whats going on and fix it or it may just do it again.

if its a blown head gasket, thats really bad news man, hope its something else, but thats highly unlikely

99.9% of the time when oil and antifreeze starts mixing, you got yourself a problem with the head. time for a the m3 swap :P
