Cold Air Suddenly Went Warm?

I've red a ton a post on this problem but am not sure if any pertain to me.
I have a 96 328IS.
I started the car up to move it out of the driveway. The A/C was cold, then it suddenly became warm?
I washed my Tribute, pulled the bimmer back up the driveway and the A/C was cold again.
My climate control display is clear and bright.
The dealer already replaced the blower motor.
Anyone got any ideas as to the problem?

Seems straightforward to me...it's cold in neutral and drive and warm in reverse? Hell, just go forward when it's hot outside!

check the freon level....

I would say get the level of freon checked out, normally when freon is low it goes from warm to cold over a period of time. That's just weird
