It would seem the A/C system needs service; but don't just re-pressurize the refrigerant. There may be serious leaks that need to be fixed first. Also the compressor may be bad.
Find a qualified shop to test it for leaks and whatever. On mine the evaporator dryer was rusted out the first time and the second time the refrigerant had just leaked out. Also make sure the center vent is opened to the outside.
