I can tell a good solid difference in power in my 318 from RPM's 3k and up, it ain't a different car but it helps if you need just a slight power increase or response, plus you get a cool sound
hey
speaking of CAI, how much of a difference does it make it you get a dinan or jc one as opposed to a generic one from like cosmo racing ?
To me they seem to be the same theoretically with respect to the air flow, but i honestly am just guessing. thanks guys

I would get it just for the pipe and then throw a K&N or Green filter on it and bam, the quality just skyrocketed...a mandrel bent pipe is a mandrel bent pipe regardless...It may fit crappy, it may fit fine, but generally speaking, you do get what you pay for...

So true, so true. I didn't go cheap on my car, I'm not gonna go cheap on parts for my car. I doubt the fitment on that CAI is worth a crap, and if you want a K&N just get a drop in. I'm convinved the only way you will get a big improvement is with a true CAI that is long enough to draw air from the fender well or lower part of the front spoiler.
