I want to lower the front of my '92 325iS and found these coil-over shocks on Ebay. It seems like a good deal but I wanted to get some input from everyone before I made a purchase. I especially would like to hear from people who are running this set-up.
I also would like any general input on lowering my car such as alignment issues.
those are cheap and will give you a shitty ride....doing the shocks yourself will save you alot of money...BUT they are hard as Hell, not the same shit as hondas or acuras etc....it'll cost about $300 for shop to get it done...don't pay alot for the job etc. for cheap coilovers. if you buy these you regret it.....oh well my 2 nickels.
I heard good stuff about H&R and Eibaach etc....I myself am sporting stock modified M3 front springs and shock perch and its smooth riding and perfectly lowered...atleast to my taste. If thats your burgundy IS in the sig....nice ride don't put knockoffs on that baby...good luck..

Thanks for the feedback and the compliment on my car. When you say modified M3 springs, what was the modification? Did you cut them? Can you post a side-view pic of your car so I can see the stance?
Here's a picture of my 325 as it sits right now. I'm happy with the rear height, but I'd like to remove the gap above the front tires and drop it an inch or two.
get eibach springs and bilstein heavy duty shocks...you wont regret it

I am in the same dilemma, I need to lower my car, but I am going to go ahead and do the whole car, front and rear, BUT, I have 19x8's on my 92 325i and hope that the tires will not scrub when I lower it. I will include a pic to show you all how much room I have. What is the max amount you think I can go? I want the race look but still some ride quality there. Also, how low until I will need a camber kit? I know some cars do not need them unless you go over 1.5...Thanks for any help!
