code for factory radio 328i

hello guys i have a question regarding my factory sterio for as 328i i disconnetcted my batt and now its asking for a code can anyone help me reset it....

i dont think you can reset it... but look in your owners manual or your car stereo manual, there should be little stickers with your code on it..

if you cant find those, you may have to take your car to the dealership and have them look your code up, im pretty sure they do it for free

they may charge if they have to pull the stereo out and get the serial # to get the proper code.

or u can stick the stereo in the freezer over night!!! no really its true im not joking......its freezes the code and u can then put it in and it wont ask for the code

if this does work which i don't see how it would. look out for condensation after removal from the freezer.

I havent tried it myself but I have heard quite a few times that if you do this its freezes the code and all works ok!!! Id also be careful u dont mistake it for a box of burgers :P

I dont think the freezer system works on all the coded radio's though.
Hit and miss in some cases.
