Does anybody know how to remove the cockpit so that i can replace the counter (speed and rpm) for a m3 one?
I also need to replace a light behind the 140 km/ph mark
Thanks in advance.
mark the steering wheel and remove it. There are two phillips screws on the top outer edge of the cluster, remove them. With a little nudging the cluster should come out. Be very careful with the airbag connector, do not turn the ignition on while the airbag is disconected or you will have to reset the SRS light. HTH

the airbag system will get all pissy and you'l end up going to the dealership to make it shut up. Airbag should still function after you hook everything back up correctly.
it's quite possible to remove the guage pod without taking off the steering wheel, you just need to have the car on and turn the steering wheel to be able to manuver the pod out. If I'm correct, removing the steering wheel is a bitch and a half. That way you dont have to worry about the airbag system getting pissed off and realigning your steering wheel correctly.
