If your clutch is slipping it means that your clutch is fast becoming toast. A few ways to tell, if you shift whilst accelerating hard and the rpms rise but you do not accelerate proportionately to the climbing rpms, then your clutch is slipping. To see if your clutch is bad, park your car somewhere flat with nothing in front of it for several a few feet. Then put the car in a higher gear, such as 4th or 5th. Then slowly take the clutch out, no gas. If the car instantly dies, your clutch is still good. If the car sputters and dies or does not dies instantly, then your clutch is toast or becoming toast.
Cool. Thanks for the info. I'll check it out soemtime this weekend.
