So when I press down my clutch there's a screetching/whining noise.... I also "feel" things through the pedal....

Is my clutch gone?

Sounds like the throw out bearing to me.

UPDATE:

It was some sort of bearing... I'm just going to replace the whole clutch becaust the labour will be the same cost...

Does it make sense to have the M3 clutch installed?

No, the whining noise is actually a throw out bearing. Anyway, when you'll replace the bearing renew the clutch too!

Um, there's like an M5 flywheel M3 clutch combo or something. Autotechnica did something like it to his car. I've been looking for some more info myself. Check out Dinancars.com for their stage 1 clutch kit, then just get the parts with your discount

Looked into it all... in order to do M3 Clutch... I'd have to do M3 Flywheel...

I don't think the benefits would outweigh the cost. So I'm just replacing the clutch with a stock one.

Important: when you standing still with your car and the engine runs, do you hear that whining noise too? Even revv your engine! Strange, no things anymore you 'feel' through the pedal. I have this same thing

I don't really have any info on the conversion other than the fact that I'd need a new M3 flywheel that would run like $1,200CDN retail... Even with a staff discount, I don't think it'd be worth it... I think the money could be spent somewhere else with more benefit?

Get a UUC stageII flywheel and an E34 M5 clutch. I'm about to install this setup within the next couple weeks.
