Mario Milewski is an unknown quantity at this point
Hi,

I have a question regarding clutch chatter (grabbing) which I get in the first gear. My
mechanic just changed the clutch (BMW Clutch Kit 95 318is) and now when I
shift into first gear I get clutch chatter, this chatter continues until I shift
into a second gear. When I release the clutch pedal very slowly the clutch chatter is not as bad. The guy said that he machined flywheel so now I
got no idea what is wrong. Could it be a loose transmission mount? This only happens in the first gear, the other gears are fine. Also when I drive on slippery
surface the chatter is not as noticeable, probably because I get less traction.

Thanks for any advice,

Mario
