The screen for the clock and control is displaying all weird, think it has a lot of dead pixels. Does anyone know if you can just change the screen and how much this would cost?

how much would the whole assembly cost? Is it really hard to change?
Second question:
When you turn the switch bulb check, its the ACS light suppose to go on? If the bulb is dead would the check engine light up for that?

not hard to change, just a simple connection at the back of it. ring up some wreckers and ask for a price, new it'd cost too much i'd say. not sure what u mean by your second question.
Easy to swap out a new one. I agree with Warnox, you will have to try with wreckers, junkjards, or eBay, etc., to find a replacement. You can also just purchase the unit from the dealership, who can get you one for about US$600.
About your second question, I already answereed it in one of your many threads, or maybe a PM you sent me. Anyhow, my guess is that the bulb check should check all the bulbs, so the ACS light should illuminate. About your third question: the check engine light will NOT come on because of a faulty light.

Do you know the exact name for that part? Trying to look at parts for the car but can't seem to find anything that resembles "control check" "control box".

I didn't know all this stuff to begin with -i ti's all on the Internet. I mean, I have no problem helping out, but it gets irritating having to do stuff that you evidently can do (browse the web) because you don't take the time to do it yourself, even though it is your car. I am sorry if I come off as harsh, but if we're gonna be e-buddies, you need to know how I feel.

And get a BMW 3 Series (E36) Service Manual. I this recommend to everyone unwilling to blindly hand all repairs and maintenance to the dealership or local mechanic.

No big deal. But please do search throughly in the future. I know you're pretty new, so that is understandable. We have a good FAQ section, and pretty much any problem you may have with your car, somebody else has had on this board before. The search function is your friend -- I highly recommend the 'Advanced Search.'
