Red face Climate Control Problems

I HAVE A 1998 323IC AND WHEN I START IT UP MY CLIMATE CONTROL DOES NOT COME ON FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES. IT SOUNDS LIKE AIR IS BLOWING OUT OF THE BACK WINDOW VENT THEN A CLICKING NOISE STARTS BELOW OR BEHIND THE GLOVE BOX AND AFTER A FEW MINUTES THE CLICKING STOPS AND THE CLIMATE CONTROL COMES ON. SOMETIMES IT WILL GO BACK OFF THEN IMMEDIATLY BACK ON. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS?????? used:

Hmm . . don't think it's the climate control computer. Sounds like the relay for the blower motor, judging by the clicking sound he's hearing. Don't have any more info, I'm just assuming that a high current part like a blower most likely has a relay.

I'll bet to say that is the capacitor too. That happened to me and that was exactly the symptoms. Either you can repair it yourself with the DIY document or you can find a service that can do it for you. I did find a reputable guy on Ebay. He charged $40 and of course the shipping.

Even if it's the relay, any of the choices here will not cost you much. I suggest get the relay fist, then get the capacitor changed if the relay doesn't do the trick.
