My climate control turns on and off by iteself. It seems to remember what the last setting were. When it's hot, it does not even turn ON.
I've seen a DIY on this forum and they say to replace the capacitor in the unit.
Has anyone had this problem with the climate control unit and has anyone replaced the capacitor?
I want to replace the capacitor but was wondering, can i use electrolytic capacitor instead of tatanlum.

I replaced it. very easy. follow instructions on the guy who found out the "how to" website. He used .47uF/35v, other people used 47uF, I used 10uF/50V. Works perfect. The capacitor that needs replacing is oriented 180 degrees from the other 3 caps that are nearby.
