Which Climate Control Filter?

Time to change the Cabin filter

I took a quick look @ bimmerzone for the parts, Febi & Corteco cabin filters are ~$20 but the bosch is $12.20.

Anyone have good or bad experiences with the filters? Why the price swing?

the price swing i cannot explain to you, but i will tell you this, stay with the bosch one, since bosch makes better components that some asian or unknown brand. I believe Bher, the same manufactureers of the ac systems for bmw, make this filters, but this filter can only be found at stealer.

I will try to fit a cabin microfilter with activated carbon, this way to prevent odors from coming in and also keeping the air cleaner.. BMW does not make this, and i dont think no one else. But volvo uses this on their cars and its great, and after seeing the filter, i realized it can be made, and it wont be bigger than the original..

We have an early Gen filter..... I really shouldn't call it a micron, because it probably isn't.

Bosch filters can be found @ any CarQuest (call in advance) They quoted me $25 for all three makes today.

I guess I'll just order the bosch since there appears to be no details on the matter.
