Just got my 96' 328i, How do you get it to read in farenheit? I have no owners manual. ghead

If you're talking about changing the reading to farenheit in the automatic climate control unit, I don't believe you can.

If you're talking about changing the readings in the readout for the outside temprature, there is a button below (F/C).

The local BMW guy told me its a programable deal.

If your BMW guy is sure of that, then I'd say it's worth paying a good hour's rate for this "programmable deal".
I personnaly haven't heard of it.

They read in centigrede right out of teh factory. The dealership can reprogram it for you. Go to them. It cannot cost very much.
