I am interested in getting clear rear signal lights for my e36. There are a variety available on ebay from $40-$150 but the type I want are completely stock except for clear signals.
As in I don't want to put in a housing that doesn't match the pervious housing exactly. I can imagine buying a new housing and having the red be slightly off, or the plastic material being different (like shiney/glossy). Basically I would like a housing that is EXACTLY like the stock housing, only the amber part is the same white to match the reverse lights.
Are there any brands that are good? did BMW make one?
While we are on the subject, are there clear corners that match the headlights? I see so many e36s with those fogged clear corners that don't match the headlights at all. Does anyone have pictures of clear corners that actually match the headlights?
I got my tails off of ebay for about 85 bucks, they installed in 15 minutes, and they look great. They look OEM red/clear, you could never tell.
careful with ebay, its not made for bmw driving style, it might fall out, or leak...be very careful...ive bought stuff from ebay, except for small things, ill never shop for my car stuff there...
