Ciggerette Lighter Not Working

I have a 2000 bmw323ci.

Recenlty, I had a few sparks when I plugged in the charger for my nuvi GPS in to the ciggerette lighter. I may damaged the front end of the Garmin charger which probably caused the sparks and am getting a new charger.

But the worse part is that my cigerette lighter does not seem to work any more. I tried using my old car charger (which used to work fine) but it does not seem to be getting power from the car.

I have a new battery and it is working fine as the car starts normally.

Is there a fuse in the car, I may have blown or is there something I can check to see whats the problem with the ciggerette lighter.
