Chips (sorry New Topic But...)

Hey, well sorry i'm starting a new topic bout chips, but it seemed like the only information on these forums are about performance chips for 318. I have a '95 325i and was wondering which chip would be give the best performance and price. The Conforti chip boasts 4 more hp, same amount of torque, and a 1000 revs greater rev limit than the Dinan chip, and is $50 less. So i was wondering if multiple people actually think that its worth it and if there anywhere that sells it cheaper than $250. thanks

I have it. I think it's worth it. And I didn't find it anyplace for less then $250.

You will also need to look at your ECU number when you order(no matter where you get teh chip from). The first couple things in this DIY tell you how to do that.

I definately think it is worth the money. I did my research before I bought my chip and the conforti claims the most and is very well respected. Turnermotorsport.com is a good place to get the chip too. Whne I ordered mine I got free shipping and had no problems what-so-ever.

One thing though. Are you planning on doing alot of stuff to your car? If so the Actice Autowerks chip would be better. They will program a chip specifically for you and your mods. jllphan did that and he seems very happy with it. Turnermotorsport will reprogram the chip for you for free within 6 months and it is $100 after that so you still have the option.
