i was wondering about the different types of chips for 95 325ic i have cold air intake and exaust is not stock.any tips guys? or gals.

advantage of a chip, better performance and better fuel economy. simply, in my opinion, its the best bang for the buck short of custom FI.

lots of threads on chips, especially lately. Look on these forums do a simple search and you will find a wealth of info, plus lots of opinions. But I agree with checking the internet activeautowerke.com, turnermotorsport.com, anyplace that sells the dinan chip.

A chip and intake is a common pair. Consider that as well, they work well together. It's commonly one of the first mods done, and one of the most benificial. Expect to pay between $300 and $450 for a good chip though. I personally recommend Conforti or Dinan. Since this is controlling the programming of the car, do not get a cheap off brand, or it could try to over-do something and harm your engine, though unless you get one on ebay (where you don't know what you're really getting), I wouldn't worry about that.
