Just installed these today, I think the finished product is pretty sick, obviously I'm biased because its my car, but the halo's are a lot brighter then I had expected. One Question, does anyone know where I can get the Super White bulbs that are the Dual Filament 5007's or 7528's? I can't find them anywhere.
Thanks!
Steve

I got a set off Ebay for about $120. They work very well and provide a nice bright beam.... easy plug-n-play. Do a search for Halo-D E36 on Ebay and they'll pop up. They're made in Taiwan but I was surprised at the quality and fit, and they use the three mounts across the top, not just two like some of the others I've seen. They also use the factory aiming mechanisms. I used frosted clear corners and SilverStar bulbs in all. The corner light Silverstars are clear or light blue till they illuminate amber. So there's no amber or orange across the frontend. I used clear side marker lights too. You can find any of the bulbs at PepBoys.
well not all of us can afford to spend $500+ on headlights, i bought those too and they actually work suprisingly well, and they look ALOT better than the fogged over stock ones.
Ya, trust me I would have loved to put some kickass ZKW's but, I just had a brand new baby girl, and I have to have a happy medium between upgrades and cost of upgrades. I think that the majority of the guys / gals can relate to what I am getting at here. If you can spend that kind of cash, by all means, but when I am driving down the road at dusk, and I see someones head turn just a little bit, it makes my day, 99.999999999% of the population wont know the difference.
I had to make the decision between Diapers , or Depo's !!!! hehehe
Not hating on anyone, just happy with what I was able to afford

Yeah its my kids car anyway. I just do little upgrades that give the best bang for the buck. I did drop a whole set of Bilsteins and the Ground Control RSM's on it this month though . But any light upgrade you do is gonna be better than the stock stuff anyway. I've got several cars and a couple of boats to flame money on so I have to spread it around or things would get very crappy very fast and I'd never hear the end of it : . After I saw the Chevy transmission behind the motor used: I didn't really see much point in going overboard on this one.

What you could have done was buy depos and go to costco and buy enough diapers for a year for $30.
LOL, I'm well aware of Costco, our My father in law wrote the legal paperwork for them when they first opened years ago, so our family was one of the first 20 members, plus I live in Seattle where Costco started. Even in costco land, a years supply of diapers isn't $30 bucks I sure wish it was though!! Thanks for the kind words............ PS Anyone have any experience with the Cosmos Intake?

Yep, love it. It has a nice growl at moderate throttle. There is the noticable sucking sound at arount 1/8-1/4 throttle. It really howls near redline, just when you want it to - good shift indicator. You will have to relocate the horns tho. I relocated the horns and installed the intake in 2 hours using only the tools from theBMW trunk kit.
