Check Engine Light... gone

My check engine ligh came on not very long ago. I had the code read immediately, which revelaed I had "low threshold" in bank 1, which more than likely means that an O2 sensor had gone bad. Well, yesterday onmy way to church I noticed that my CEL was gone. I don't know how to feel about this -- should I treat it like it is all fine (I had suspected that maybe the connector had come lose on one sensor) or should I really worry, since now I don't know if the problem persists, only that now I don't have visual confirmation/feedback form the car?

well this is what happened to me and it did the same thing.... went away... its been 2 years after and ive yet to have any problems with the car since, just keep an eye on it and see if it comes back.

Cool. I'll do just that, especially because there was no -- noticeable at least -- change in my fuel consumption.
