Check Engine Light Came On...

So my check engine light came on and the mechanic said it s the cat. i want to get an exhaust too so what the most inexpensie route to fix my problem.

Look into getting a full exhaust... they sell them... most are cat back... but you can also order full exhuasts... and yes they cost a lot more... its a lot more tubing... but they end up being better.. if you get a more free flowing cat..

Since that is such an expensive fix I would get a second opinion.

would you do that by getting the catback system with a nice set up of headers? or would their have to be another piece between the header and the catback setup?

yes its going to be...........The cheapest way is to just put a new cat in...........or get a new cat and a catback system.......if you have the money i would go with the full exhaust.............

you could get a new exhaust system, normal size without the cat. then make your own cat. bypass pipe. That is what my friend did on his porsche.

i would buy a new cat, then buy the uuc or stromung catback exhaust.
