0442 - EVAP SMALL LEAK
0420 - TW CATALYST SYS (bank 1)
0430 - TW CATALYST SYS (bank 2)
1250 - Whatever that is.
The last 3 popped on after I removed my cats, but the first one was there before. I erased the codes, and ever since driving home, they've stayed off... but I expect them to come back. How can I permanently get rid of the last 3 (cats warning) because I know it's gone. Anyway to reprogram it and turn those codes off or something?
Komodo, give me a day or two, i'll find out what that code means, I am going by my dad's place on Friday there I have a book that tells me what those codes mean.

Yes, but you'll need a scan for that

Any clue what that means? lol
Strange, when I pulled the codes yesterday, I also choose to erase them.
I expected them to come right back after driving for a few minutes and the car realizes there's no cat... but its been 2 days of driving now, and the check engine light is still off. Erasing codes is not perm. is it?
I kinda do, but am not sure, I'll know more by Friday

When you erase codes, you just empty the error memory... when the ECU gets new errors, they're written to the error memory again.
And how's the car supposed to know if the catalyzers have been removed?? The O2 sensor is BEFORE the cats Or at least it is so on the european cars. Cats themselves don't have any sensors. And when you're removing the cats, why should you remove your O2 sensor?? That would just screw up your fuel management(engine reverts back to safe values, not optimized values).

In USA we hav ehorrible laws for emissions that make our cars slower and cost more. On E36 OBD2 cars there are O2 sensors before AND AFTER the cats! Total of four costing $80 each, quite expesnive and retarded.

That check engine light might very well return a day or two after your next gas fill up!

Actually I just filled up yesterday morning, and have driven probably 50 miles since then. And probably 50 since I erased the codes but before the refueling.
I just replaced my secondary air pump and secondary air check valve to reset error codes F5, F6 (Table 11, using Peake Research Code/Reset Tool). This fixed the cold start condition. On the following day, the CEL came on again. Now it is FB (EVAP small leak detected). Any suggestions?
check your O2 sensors!!!
I have the same code P0420, and many people told me to check my sensors, usually Cat. malfunction is due to sensors before the Cat. (it only has 2 on 318), I'm gonna check mine next week.
