Changing Gears...

When I change gears sometimes I get a kind of slight kick or a chugg outta the car...
Wondering would it be a fuel filter or something?

hard to say, im assuming its a 5speed? what year and model is the car? a slight kick would suggest popping the clutch to me, and chug would suggest the opposite, almost like your riding the clutch. the fuel filter would affect the intire spectrum of performance. would you say that your problem is because of something mechanical? or something in the combustion cycle?

its nothing to do with like shifting up at too low of an rpm or downshifting at low rpm's? When I was learning manual a while ago I did that sometimes.

Yup, 5 Speed '98 316Coupe...
The Clutch was recently done - don't think it's that...
It's not riding the clutch either, just feels sloppy when changing gears..
What effect would changing the fuel filter have would you say?

I had to replace my plugs today because my car barely ran. Makes kind of a drrrrrrrrrrrrr noise, and the car just drives terribly, very rough, etc.

ahh just sloppy could just be you need to replace your shifter bushings. its something they should have done when you did your clutch, its easy to do while the clutch is out and probably need it.
