Changing from Celcius to Farenhight(sp) - BMW Forum

I just bought a 97 328i and my controls for the AC/Heat temp are in Celcius and i would like to change it to Farenhieght....is there a way to do this...if so how is it done. Thanks!

it is in the manuel under where it talks about setting the clock and all the functions. Its called ambassador mode. I forget how but i think you go to it and then hit the little reset like button.

also you can take the degrees in celsius and multiply it by 9. then divide by 5. then add 32. that should be your conversion.

Yes, hold the trip odometer button in while turning key to position 1. I had to reset me trip setting to zero first. It changes dash and climite displays. I have a '97 528i.

That doesn't work on mine, just does a test and show a bunch of #s, part of the vin and such.
