Changed My Oil

Ok I know I probably might get flamed for this but I heard that when changing your oil, after most of the oil has drained out...if you start your engine for like a split second, it will get the last remnants of dirty oil out. I just changed my oil yesterday but I didn't try it because I was too scared. Oh, and also I put 7 quarts or 10-40w oil in but when I check the oil level it's like only half way between the first and second lines or notches. I thought 325 engines take 7 quarts or oil...

It might suck the last bit out of the oil filter. But I would never do it. If you change your oil regularly with quality filters you won't have to worry about dirty oil.

Sometimes the car hides oil in other places so just add half a quart to fill it up. Last change I had to dump like 8.5 quarts in there.
