i go to lock my 318i e36 91 reg with the key on the drivers door and it locks then unlocks like a door is open this is baffeling me as i have to go around to eatch door and lock them indiviudualy at the moment dunno what it could be tho any help would be mutch apreciated

check the sensors/switches at each door and the trunk. sounds like your car thinks one of the doors are open.
