cellular phone antenna.

ok i have a 92 318is and when i bought it it had the big a$$ phone on the center console. i took the phone out but the antenna on the back window is still there, i was wondering how i could get it off. and also is there to possibility that since there is a wire going from inside the car then an adhesive then the antenna on the outside that there is a hole made in the window or could it be sending the signal through the window?

I thought the antenna on the back was also for the radio? You might want to also try the audio and electronics section.

yeah my car has the phone holder, but not the phone. I am trying to find a cupholder that goes there. If I just cut the wires that are connected to the phone holder it won't mess up any electronics right?
